Optimod was founded 1991 in the university town and optical valley of Jena/ Germany. The company is focussed on scientific consulting and the development of optical diffraction software. Among our customers are important optical companies, university faculties as well as scientific and technology institutes.

With effect from 15/01/2015, Unigit will be marketed and supported by Osires Ilmenau. Osires has been in close collaboration with Optimod for more than 20 years. Thus, the transition will be smooth and seemless. Prof. Hehl will still being available as senior advisor.
