UNIGIT Demo Version - All Installations (see below) can be run as a Demo

Convince yourself about the performance and features of UNIGIT by testing it for free.

- Just download and save an installation ZIP file to your hard disc and unzip it
- Then, start the setup.exe. It will lead you through the installation
- After the code is installed a new icon should appear on your desktop
- Now you can launch UNIGIT by double clicking the icon
- Two tutorial PDF documents give some basic examples and more sophisticated examples how to utilize UNIGIT.
- It might happen that some MFC DLL's are still required - see below

Since you installed a Demo version it will run with some limitations. You can take full advantage of the performance of UNIGIT by ordering a hardlock. Just send an email to support@unigit.net and we will send a quotation.

This updated version of Unigit is compatible to Sentinel LDK protection system. However, it can also be used with previous Hardlock protection. In this case, remove the unigit_hl.ctr file from the installation directory !

Version 2.01.03 is equivalent to version 2.01.02, however, offers the option to run loops fully parallelized. It enables multiple speed up (> 4 ... 6 on a 8-core machine) when run on multi-core machines. In addition, a symmetry accelerator was implemented for symmetric 2D setups.

Version 2.01.02 is a further improvement of our grating solver. The C-method solver already implemented in version 2.01.01 can now be run for multi-layer stacks. Besides, the new code contains some exciting new features such as a new diagram tool, a quick diffraction angle calculator and a flexible loop control. After installation, please, make sure to register the ActiveX library grcntl.ocx according to the readme file that comes with the package. In case you encounter problems with the hardlock driver, please check www.safenet.com and download the appropriate driver.

Unigit versions 2.xx.xx have been completely redesigned in comparison to versions 1.xx.xx. An essential new feature is the option to save the complete information of a computation run into a project file (extension .upr). Later, both input information (e.g. wavelengths, orders, AOI and the grating stack) as well as computed results (e.g. efficiency, amplitude, phase, ellipsometric signal, diffraction angles) can be restored from it. The other new striking feature of Unigit is the implementation of a C-method solver which is an ideal supplement to the RCWA solver engine. Particular grating profiles such as Echelles can be run very fast and accurate even for very high orders.

Version 2.01.01 of UNIGIT is not available anymore. Please, resort to version 2.01.02 that includes the complete functionality of version 2.01.01.

This is the Beta version 1.02.04 of UNIGIT. Please, use the according version for installation under Vista& Windows 7 or XP. The installation comes with the latest Hardlock driver from Aladdin. In case you encounter problems with the driver, please check www.aladdin.com and download the appropriate driver. First of all, the most striking news is the accelerator for 2D gratings. This gives up to a factor of 12 ... 15 speed gain (standard is 4 ... 8). Further new features are nested ellipse and double holes as well as the direct input of a generic 3D ellipsoid. The latter feature saves the user from tedious input of 3D bodies and does an equidistant 3D slicing itself due to specification. For more details about the new features please read the document "what is new in version 1.02.04" .

For newer installations (from 2.02.01 upwards) or patches (dated from February 2017 and later) you may need some Intel distributables:
for 64 bit version of Unigit: intel_dist_x64.zip
for 32 bit version of Unigit: intel_dist_ia32.zip
Depending on your operating system (Windows 2000 or XP) you need to have installed one of the following MFC DLL's to run UNIGIT: mfc70.zip

If you have acquired a hard lock to run UNIGIT in the full version instead of the demo version you need to download and install a hardlock driver. The latest driver can be download from:
