The grating solver Software Unigit was launched 1991 as a collaboration of Optimod and Dr. J. Bischoff. Optimod was founded 1990 in the university town and optical valley
of Jena/ Germany by Prof. Karl Hehl. Optimod was focussed on scientific consulting and the
development of optical diffraction software.
With effect from 15/01/2015, Unigit will be marketed and supported
by Osires Ilmenau. Osires has been in close collaboration with Optimod for more than 20 years. Thus,
the transition will be smooth and seemless. Prof. Hehl will still being available as senior advisor.
Among our customers are international optical, semiconductor and other technology companies, university faculties as well as scientific and
technology institutes.
